to develop their talents to reach their potential.

The Ldny Foundation will support young people from lower income communities in the UK, US and developing world gain entry into the creative industries and fulfill their potential whatever their background by providing: educational scholarships, SME grants and supporting a range of innovative and effective projects. Our aspiration is that over time this foundation will become a major force in harnessing and linking the raw creative talent of the “underprivileged”.
We have formed partnerships with Parsons in New York and London College of Fashion and will also endeavor to offer educational grants and scholarships to support young people from developing countries enter these two leading creative educational institutions in London and New York.
OBJECTIVES
THE OBJECTIVES of the Foundation are for the public benefit to further such exclusively charitable purposes as the Trustees may in their discretion from time to time determine, including (but not limited to):
Our long-term ambition is to build our own design education facility in Ghana and create the first world class fashion and design institute in Sub-Saharan Africa. For more details Click Here
Promoting the education of young people aged in such ways as the charity trustees think fit, including (but not limited to):
Maintenance allowances or grants and other funding tenable at any university, college or institution of higher
or further education and non-institutions, including apprenticeships and work experience.
Supporting their education by providing practical and other support, or to prepare them for entry to a sustainable occupation in the creative industries.
Assisting young people in social and economic hardship through the provision of assistance (including financial assistance), encouragement and opportunities in establishing new businesses or engaging in the creative profession
Foundation model
The Ldny Foundation provides two forms of grants: educational scholarships and business training programms.
We will also provide small business bursaries for upcoming creative entrepreneurs.
Foundation AIMS:
To provide a pathway into the creative industries (with an initial focus on fashion) for young people from low income communities both from the UK, US and developing world.
Educational Scholarships​ Criteria
- Social housing or supported housing
- Total Household income less than 30K annual income.
- International students will need NGO referral’s we will work with the non profits to select viable applicants in the territories they work in.
Local Community
The Ldny Foundation’s head offices are based in the London Borough of Tottenham. We have unfortunately already seen the high cost of economic inactivity and lack of opportunity which manifested in the civil disturbances which have taken place in Tottenham
Producing a rich mix of experiences, expertise and knowledge from people within Tottenham and further afield. We aim to produce a facility that will serve the community as well as the city. We are pleased to have support from the local MP the Rt Hon David Lammy.

Our manufacturing partner Fashion Enter is a not for profit, social enterprise, which strives to be a centre of
excellence for sampling, grading, production and for learning and development of skills within the fashion and
